I’m in love with North Carolina. Here’s why:
Seriously! It’s November 10th, and the beach is as beautiful as ever, weather is perfect, what more could I ask for?! If I were still in Pennsylvania, or even still in DC, I’d be wearing my fall boots and not leaving home without a jacket. I’ve always been a big baby about the cold, but this… this I could get used to.
It makes me sad that I’m leaving soon, and going back to snowy, cold Pennsylvania. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always love my home, but it just doesn’t have this appeal!
In case you missed the news, Scott and I are selling all our belongings and moving back to Pennsylvania for the holidays, then we’re off on a one-way flight to Nicaragua to go on an extended backpacking trip. I’ve been so swamped with building inventory on Etsy for the holidays, working on custom orders, and trying to sell off, donate, or pack all our things, that it was an amazing treat to get on the bike, head to the beach, and go on a nice long walk with my toes in the sand. Made me want to jump for joy!
So I did! Well… time to get back to work. I’ve got some goodies coming up for the blog this week. I’m working on a tutorial to make your own Mini Zen Garden, so watch out for that! I also rolled out my first holiday sale¬†this weekend, offering discounts for buying multiple prints. Stay tuned for more great stuff. I leave you with a homemade soup I whipped up this afternoon. I call it “little-bit-a-everything” soup! Have a great week.
